About the Neiman Marcus Receipt Template
A department-store receipt is the printed record of a purchase at a large retailer — the item bought, the transaction and card codes, the subtotal and tax, the total, the card authorization, and the thank-you line. This template lays out that department-store format section by section, and you fill it in with your own store, item, and amounts. It is handy for keeping an expense record, reproducing a slip that has faded, building a mockup for a retailer's point-of-sale screen, or generating sample data for testing. Every value shown below is an editable example, not a real transaction.
Store header
The receipt opens with the store or mall name over its address and phone — for example KING OF PRUSSIA, The Plaza at King of Prussia, 170 North Gulph Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406, (610) 932-5322. Replace these with your own store details.
Transaction and card line
A stamped line carries the transaction codes and date and a masked card entry — for example 332892 0040 0085 4411 03/04/26 and XXXXXXXXXXXX3455 /M XX/XX — above a TAKE MDSE heading. Each field is yours to set.
Item line
Items print in an item, price, and total layout, with a SKU and product-name line beneath, for example a GUCCI WALLET at 740.00 keyed to a 4231-32-32-54358907984 SKU described as DIONYSUS MEDIUM. A centered unit-price and tax line follows, such as 475.0000EA and 8.050% TAX 59.57. Add as many items as the sale needs.
Totals
The totals block stacks the subtotal, the total tax, and the total — TAKE SUBTOTAL 740.00, TOTAL TAX 59.57, TOTAL 799.57. Adjust the figures and tax rate to match the sale you are documenting.
Card authorization
A card block records the network and authorization fields — DISCOVER 799.57, then the AID, TVR, and TSI values a chip terminal prints. Switch the payment to cash and this block simply drops away.
Footer and barcode
The foot of the receipt carries a personal thank-you and comments line signed by a store manager, and a scannable CODE128 barcode. Any of these can be edited or removed.
